Hi, I'm Christine. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. My dad was a mechanic and handy-man, and my mom is a stay-at-home mom. My parents were Vietnam War refugees and I have 7 siblings.
I love to travel and hike. I've lived in the Netherlands, Colorado, and Los Angeles.
I'm a curious person and write about whatever is tugging at my mind. I chose Bear Blog because it seems like a casual place where I can share and connect, without feeling like everyone's trying to impress each other.
Work
I’ve worked remotely since 2015 and have learned that remote work needs to be intentional — culturally, logistically, and technically.
I currently do business operations. I help teams work better together by organizing chaos, always putting the user experience first. I find problems, create strategies, then build and manage projects, processes, and internal products that scale.
I've worked as a data analyst, solutions engineer, technical support specialist, freelancer, and account manager. Basically, I'm a high performing generalist.
No matter what role I’m in, my goal is to make life easier for people and build things that people love to use.
Photography
I’ve been photographing for a long time, but I don't share my photos online. Maybe I'll share them here.
I started in the darkroom with black and white film where I learned everything about manual photography, including patience and focus. I tried DSLRs for a while but those were too heavy to carry around. I switched to a mirrorless camera and have used one ever since.
My photography is inspired by nature, cultures, and fleeting moments.
